Whe you listen to them for the first time, y...TITS! Whe you listen to them for the first time, you imagine an intoxicated gang of mad guys seasoned ‘a la speed belge’. The first thing that comes to me is that they sound like drunken chaos, like Pixies’ “Crackity Jones”, like any weekend spent at your favourite bar ending in a fucked up afterhours without knowing who your father is. They seem energetic amateurs but those dudes made their careers in bands like Feeling of Love, Chimiks, Pierre et Bastien and Catholic Spray, who are somehow mad too.
In addition, with so many Mujeres, Girls, Women around… It was about time to find a buch of guys called TITS. We love those kind of tributes to punk women. It’s better than names like Cunts or Hairy Armpits.
Tits render less feminist controversy. But it really is an acronym of Thugs In Trendy Style, well played.

They come from Paris and they make dirty rock, drunken garage, psychotropic punk and psychedelic punchs. They are the perfect OST for a surrealistic getaway. You listen to them and yes, you will end with a hangover, but two days later you'll be wanting more, drinking more, listening again to “You Make Me Sick” and getting ill in a cool way. They are noisy at a Fang style, but without reaching the levels of McBride who asphyxiate his girlfriend with his own hands. T.I.T.S. aren’t like that, they are too nice. They make punk that gets you high, faster than Fang yeah, and with more laughter, more joyful.

The records includes “Coma Girl” that is a huge hit, besides two new and ‘polished’ versions -if we can call this avalanche of lo-fi feedbacks that- of their initial singles “Cyclope” and “Beta Cocaine”, published for the first time at the end of 2012. And they have nasty titles like “Chick Genocide”, “Adolf Hustler” or “Kill by Cash”. All very friendly.
They have tracks that move fast, assaulting, others like “Lezar” are frenetic, others are a bad trip, like “Keviar Pantles” that follows.
The album develops like that, in zigzag, kicking, and pulling – stopping, yanking – resting. Some start slowly and end bravely, other seems to slip at the beginning and this is how they continue but they end with “Kill by Cash”, that’s purely crazy and leaves you half bruised.
That’s how this review has come around, as if a hunky dude called TITS smashed my head. When I recover I’ll listen to it again.Fueenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17292736369539427466noreply@blogger.com
